| Out To Pasture Animal Sanctuary Activities
|
Our primary goal is the care and feeding of abused, neglected or abandoned animals including large farm animals, pigs, rabbits, chickens, cats and dogs.
We work with the Northwest Miniature Pig Association to provide shelter for unwanted pot bellied pigs. We also offer at no charge the use of our facilities for veterinary care clinics for miniature pigs.
We network with Portland (Oregon) area feral cat rescue groups to provide loaner traps and transportation of cats to area clinics for spay and neuter procedures. We maintain feeding stations for feral cat colonies in Estacada.
We work with animal welfare groups such as the NW In Defense of Animals to investigate reports of animal neglect in Clackamas County.
We promote the humane treatment of all animals and advocate for an end to factory farming through public education including leafleting, tabling at public events and newspaper articles in the Portland area. We also promote vegan diets for reasons of compassion, health and the environment.
Volunteers are invited to participate in workdays scheduled several times a year at the sanctuary. |

| We believe that non-human animals value their lives as much as we value our own and deserve to live free of exploitation and cruelty. |
